Urban street lighting is to provide lighting for vehicles and pedestrians at the same time, generally for a single direction 7-10M width. Especially in the early evening, there is a big number of vehicles and pedestrians at this time,  then the lighting area requirements wide as well as illumination requirements higher.  But at midnight, vehicles and pedestrians gradually decrease, the illumination can be reduced also, thus achieving a more energy-efficient lighting effect.

Light Distributions Mode Of Urban Road Recommend TYPE II & TYPE III

Light Distributions Model

TYPE I

 In the IESNA
Standard, The Type I distribution is great for lighting walkways,
paths and sidewalks. It is generally applicable to where the
mounting height is approximately equal to the roadway width.

TYPE II

In the IESNA Standard, the Type II distribution is used for wide walkways, on ramps and entrance roadways, as well as other long, narrow lighting. It is generally applicable to where the width of the roadway does not exceed 1.75 times the designed mounting
height.

TYPE III

In the IESNA Standard, the Type III distribution is meant for roadway lighting,
general parking areas and other areas where a largerarea of lighting is required. This distribution is intended for luminaires
mounted at or near the side of medium width roadways or areas, where the width of the roadway or area does not exceed
2.75 times the mounting height.

TYPE V

The Type V lens of BOSUN solar street light . In the IESNA Standard,It is intended for luminaire mounting at or near center of roadways, center islands of parkway, and intersections. It is also meant for large, commercial parking lot lighting as well as areas where suticient, evenly distributed light is necessary.

Recommended Models To Urban Road Solar Street Lights

All In One Solar Lights

BOSUN All In One Intergrated solar street light series is the most compact model. It integrates all components such as solar panel, lithium battery, solar controller and LED lighting source all together with the lighting fixture as one unit.

BJ Series
Road Width: 8-14m
Pole Height: 8-10m
Lamp Wattage: 40-60W Working Mode: Mode1 & Mode 2
Application: Urban Road, and medium and
large power of LED lamp applications
QBD Series
Road Width: 8-14m
Pole Height: 8-10m
Lamp Wattage: 40-70W
Working Mode: Mode1 & Mode 2
Application: Urban Road, and medium and
